When you sign up to use the Services, you may voluntarily give us information about yourself or your organization.

Like most websites, Marin CoWork collects non-personally-identifying information of the type that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request when visitors use the Website. Marin CoWork’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to more accurately understand how Marin CoWork visitors use our Services.
Marin CoWork also collects potentially personally-identifying information like IP addresses and will possibly collect statistics regarding the behavior of visitors to the Services. For instance, Marin CoWork may monitor the Website in order to help identify spam.
In addition to log data, we may also collect information about the device you’re using to access our Services such as the type of device and crash data. 3. WiFi Usage
When you use the WiFi or other network features provided by Marin CoWork, we may collect information about your usage of the WiFi, such as when and for how long you use the network and the size of data transfers as well as frequency.
You understand that WiFi, which utilizes wireless technologies, is not guaranteed to be secure and that wireless communications possibly will not remain private or free of interception or access by others. We will not be liable to you or any other party for any lack of security that may result from your use of Marin CoWork. You agree that you are solely responsible for implementing and maintaining appropriate technological and other safeguards to ensure the safety and security of your device and anything stored on, or transmitted by, your device.
4. Use of Information
We use the information we collect to provide you with full functionality and access to the Services we provide. Accordingly, your information can possibly be used for the following purposes: (i) to provide you with and improve our services and content; (ii) to administer your use of our services; (iii) to enable members to easily navigate the Services; (iv) to fulfill requests or to respond to questions or comments you may make; (v) to personalize your experience; (vi) to provide you with notifications related to the use of our Services and other communications such as promotional e-mails or similar messaging; (vii) to issue service announcements; (viii) to protect against those seeking to hack into the Services; (ix) to determine the level of general interest in the Services; and (x) to prepare the Marin CoWork directory.
5. Disclosure of Information
For the convenience of its members, Marin CoWork prepares an internal directory to allow members to connect, network and contact each other for legitimate business purposes. When you register to use the Services, Marin CoWork may include the business name, email address, contact telephone number, social media contacts or username, and other basic profile information of members or member companies (“Contact Information”) in our internal member directory (the “Directory”). The Directory, including your Contact Information, will be exclusively available to other members and member companies on the Portal. All members and member companies agree to use Contact Information only for legitimate business purposes and to refrain from using Contact Information to spam, market, harass or otherwise contact other members against their wishes.
All members and member companies expressly agree not to compile, disclose or sell Contact Information for inclusion on any email database. By accessing the Directory you expressly agree to use member Contact Information only for legitimate business purposes. Your failure to abide by this condition may result in the immediate termination or suspension of your access to the Services and Marin CoWork as well as other legal penalties.
Unless otherwise provided in this policy, we disclose potentially personally-identifying information you disclose to Marin CoWork only to our employee-affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf or to provide Services, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country and by using the Services, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.
Other than to our employees and affiliated organizations, we disclose personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the property or legal rights of Marin CoWork, third parties, or the public.
If Marin CoWork or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or, in the unlikely event that Marin CoWork goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred to or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that any acquirer of Marin CoWork may continue to use your personal and non-personal information only as set forth in this policy. Otherwise, we will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone.
We are determined to protect your personal information. Marin CoWork and its third party affiliations use a variety of security technologies to help protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We employ security cameras in order to prevent theft and other misuses of our space. If such a misuse occurs, security camera footage may be reviewed.
7. Use of WiFi Services
Marin CoWork does not exercise control over other services you may use while using the WiFi. These third-party services may place their own cookies or other files on your computer or device, collect data, or solicit information from you.
9. Your California Privacy Rights
A business subject to California Civil Code section 1798.83 is required to disclose to its California customers, upon request, the identity of any third parties to whom the business has disclosed personal information within the previous calendar year, along with the type of personal information disclosed, for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes.
